FORCE TRANSCENDANTE / TRANSCENDENT FORCE

This series of eight separate pieces elevates the concept behind SILENT FORCE to a new level. The sculptures in this series aim to go beyond the discourse of nurture versus nature by expanding vertically, incorporating the space around it into its very definition. Integrating exterior elements of light and space create unintentional shapes, which metamorphose right in front of the viewer’s eyes. With these new works, the artist transcends the material itself giving it a new identity while respecting its fundamental structure. They project a certain light-hearted exuberance, a dynamism and an ebullience contrasting the controlled, disciplined, and lasting endurance of the selected materials. The juxtaposition of stone and bronze remains a trademark of the artist’s body of work to date since it continues to recall his own values when it comes to nurture and culture. Through the works involved in the TRANSCENDENT FORCE series, the artist embraces uncertainty, persisting with technical challenges and limitations to show his renewed commitment to excellence and fundamental appreciation of beauty in all its forms to finally reveal his own authentic self.
